The past year has been busy for Tuplin Gatwick as they worked hand in hand with Quadrant Systems Ltd to relocate the British Airways training centre from Cranebank to a new site at Heathrow Airport.
The relocation consisted of 18 devices; 12 full flight simulators, 2 fixed base devices and 4 cabin trainers.
This massive project involved designing and manufacturing specialist cases for the parts, on -site packing and handling, wide load permits, police escorts and other complex transport logistics. The simulator equipment was all safely delivered to the new training centre ready for installation – and all finished on time and in budget.
