The primary purpose of implementing robust health and safety policies, procedures and processes is to ensure that all employees and everyone affected by a company’s operations do so free from harm. Ultimately the aim is to ensure everyone goes home safely at the end of each day.

Across the entire company, the Tuplin Group is committed to maintaining the highest levels of compliance. We are delighted that our Group Health and Safety Manager, Joe Holmes, is increasing his knowledge and qualifications, undertaking the internationally recognised NCRQ Certificate in Applied Health & Safety. Previously, Joe has worked alongside our external safety consultants Tennyson Suite, completing their SMSTS course certified by the CITB. Topics such as risk assessment and accident investigation will support our staff, contractors and customers in day-to-day activities and one off, unusual projects.

  • Tuplin’s customers can be confident that all our staff receive ongoing programmes of high quality training, delivered by external bodies and augmented by internally delivered tool box talks.
  • Our equipment – forklifts, saws, shackles, slings and other lifting equipment is closely checked, monitored and serviced under PUWER and LOLAR regulations and our PPE meets or outperforms UK standards.
  • We have a rolling internal audit programme across all depots, supplemented by annual external audits to ensure continuous improvement.
