The staff at Tuplin were delighted to come second out of 30 teams in the annual Dragon Boat race in aid of St. Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley. The event has always been a highlight in the calendar but this year was bigger than ever as they celebrated their 30th anniversary.
16 members of the Tuplin team dressed up as St. George super heroes with one drummer dressed as a dragon. Managing Director, Alistair Henderson commented, “This has been a great day out for a wonderful cause. It’s really brought the team together and I’m delighted that we have come second.”
Tuplin were closely pipped at the post by the Smith & Western team beating them in under 10th of a second! This year Tuplin have raised over £1,500 for St. Catherine’s by holding cake and bake sales, sponsored runs, golf days and the dragon boat race.
