Whilst reflecting on the successes of 2018, there is one project that will particularly sit fondly in my memory for many years to come. During my 3 years working at Tuplin, I have regularly been involved in the packing & shipping of flight simulator devices being relocated around the world from locations such as China & France to final destinations in the U.K & U.S.A.
In summer 2018 The Tuplin Group was awarded the contract to assist with the safe relocation of Flight Simulator from Jordan back to the U.K, providing my first opportunity to have full responsibility of the relocation.
Having sourced materials and manufactured all packing requirements in Tuplin’s UK facilities, 2 full 40’ containers were shipped to Jordan arriving on-site the same morning as myself and the Tuplin packing team. Within the scheduled 10 days, the entire packing & loading out project was complete, with the final sea freight journey back to the U.K plain sailing…. and happily, there was also time to experience the Jordanian culture and a quick float in the dead sea!
